The 3 Day Diet
The 3 Day Diet was one of the first fad diets I attempted.
I was attracted to it, because the diet states you will lose up to
10 pounds in 3 days, and as an impatient type I loved the idea of
such fast weight loss!
The diet basically works because it is
very low calorie, I went on this diet in the summer, as I have less
of an appetite when the weather is very warm. My weight loss was
approximately 5 pounds in three days.
Although much of this weight loss is water loss, you
will feel and look slimmer, and if you follow the diet regularly,
for example once every ten days, there is no reason the weight loss
will not become permanant.

Before I started dieting I worked in a kitchen, which did
not help matters.
The 3 Day Diet rules are as follows:
Drink a minimum of 4 glasses of water or diet beverage
per day.
Any of the following may be used on the 3 day diet:
salt, pepper, vinegar, lemon, herbs, Worcestershire sauce, soy
sauce, mustard and ketchup.
If you have a lot of weight to lose, you can follow
the diet for 3 days, have a break for 3 or 4 days, and resume the
diet for another 3 days until you reach your desired weight.
The Diet DAY 1
BREAKFAST
Black Coffee or Tea with 1-2 packets of Sweet &
Low or similar
1/2 Grapefruit or Juice
1 Toast with 1 Tbsp. Peanut Butter
LUNCH
1/2 Cup of Tuna
1 Toast
Black Coffee or Tea with 1-2 packets of Sweet &
Low or similar
DINNER
3 Oz. any lean meat or chicken
1 cup green beans
1 cup carrots
1 apple
1 cup regular vanilla ice cream
DAY 2
BREAKFAST
black coffee or tea with 1-2 packets of Sweet &
Low or similar
1 Egg
1/2 Banana
1 Toast
LUNCH
1 cup cottage cheese or tuna
8 regular saltine crackers
DINNER
2 beef franks
1 cup broccoli or cabbage
1/2 cup carrots
1/2 banana
1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream
DAY 3
BREAKFAST
black coffee or tea with 1-2 packets of Sweet &
Low or similar
5 regular saltine crackers
1 oz. cheddar cheese
1 apple
LUNCH
1 boiled egg
1 toast
black coffee or tea with 1-2 packets of Sweet &
Low or Equal
DINNER
1 cup tuna
1 cup carrots
1 cup cauliflower
1 cup melon
1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream
