Diet
The Atkins Diet is
probably the most famous of all the fad diets. It advocates eating
high protein foods, and eliminating cabohydrates. The body will then
use stored fat for energy instead of burning up freshly eaten carbs.
It must be acknowledged that thousands of people have
lost weight following the Atkins Diet. I did not try this popular
fad diet because I have never been a great meat lover, and I would
surely fail on a diet that eliminates practically all carbs. Carb
laden foods include bread, fruit, cakes, pasta, ice cream, chocolate
and pies.

This plate of greasy bacon is absolutely acceptable for
those following the Atkins Diet.
To follow the Atkins Diet correctly, you
must eat no more than 20 grams of carbohydrates a day.
