The Negative
calorie diet works on the concept that although two different
types of food may contain the same amount of calories, one will
leave you full and satisfied, whereas the other will not. For
example a single fried potato chip contains approximately the same
calories as an apple. However eating one chip will satisfy few
people, though most will find one apple to be ample. By simply
counting calories we cannot be sure of the effect different foods
will have on our bodies; if it will leave us craving for more, or if
we will feel fulfilled. Foods such as apples, whole grains, and
non-starchy vegetables are negative
calorie foods, which according to nutritionists use more
calories to digest than they will pile on!
I followed a Negative
Calorie Diet for four days, and lost four pounds. I
found the Negative Calorie Diet easy to follow. I did not crave
sweet things on the negative calorie diet, as I simply filled up on
sweet fruits, such as figs, dates and raisins.

Fruits and vegetables are excellent examples of Negative
Calorie Foods
The following list contains
examples of fat burning foods that make up part of the negative
calorie diet.
Apple, Banana, Cantaloupe, Grapefruit, Kiwi, Mango,
Nectarine, Orange, Papaya, Peach, Pear, Pineapple, Plum,
Raspberries, Strawberries, Tangerine, Lemon and Lime Juice,
Artichokes, Asparagus, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Carrots,
Cauliflower, Celery, Collards, Cucumber, Eggplant, Green Beans,
Kale, Leeks, Lettuce, Mushrooms, Onions,Peppers, Radishes, Spinach,
Squash, Swiss Chard, Tomatoes and Zucchini.
The fore mentioned foods are all fat burning foods. Eat
them in generous portions. It's good to feel full from these foods!
That's the kind of full your body Will respond to by burning fat.
Remember the healthy benefits of these foods will be lost if you
douse them in butter, margarine, or fatty salad dressings. Any of
these foods will not only give you a healthy dose of vitamins,
minerals and fiber, they will also make you slimmer.
That is right! If you eat any of these foods you will
actually burn fat.
